I know many will beat me up on this one but I grew up in Selma Alabama. It was as America in the 60's until "they crossed that bridge". We moved out just 6 moths later (I was a kid). Now I know why. The place was all boarded up, drug dealers on every corner and a dump when I visited just 5 years ago. I couldn't believe it really. Mother nature has her way of cleaning up a mess.

There is no "season" for tornadoes anymore.spring was traditionally the time for them.With climate change they can occur at any time of the year.

A lot of people said that these tornadoes were very strange in that there was very little to no lightning in these storms. Most tornadic thunderstorms are also normally very nasty lightning storms. So a lack of lightning in a tornadic storm is very peculiar. By the way, Texas still gets hit by more tornadoes than any other state by far.
