You can wash electronics with water, but first you need to unplug it and make sure it has no electricity in it. Also later you need to wash it again with distilled water and later clean it with isopropyl alcohol.

You can certainly get green corrosion it occurs on brass when moisture adheres to the lacquer causing it to oxidise.
You can also get yellow rust, again this happens when oxidization occurs to certain metals.

A lot of videos get me mad but this one got me heated about the turtles. If there was something immediate we could do about it this video would have had me running out the door.
Can't speak for the soft shell turtles, I'd assume it is legitimately bad but I can't say for certain because I don't know too much about them, but for the hard shell turtles, their shell isn't that much different from our nails or other animals horns in terms of how they feel it, it's mostly vibrations and unfamiliar feels. Yes it would cause them to panic and be confused as to whats happening, and yes the videos absolutely shouldn't exist and are fake, but people are conflating it to real physical torture and it just isn't accurate. Take your preferred metal tool and rub it on top of your nail. You absolutely feel it but it's a very different feeling than someone "flaying your skin" as I saw one comment. I'll reiterate, these videos shouldn't be acceptable and the actions within are fucked up, but these creators aren't causing physical harm to these animals (again, hard shell, not soft shell, I'm not an expert in those). Once you start going into mental/emontional harm that's 'are they sentient/aware' style arguments and I'm not an expert in that either so I won't comment on that, but purely physically? You aren't causing harm.
Making a high paid learning animal quick response licence and YouTube needing such licences to make these videos so scams are avoidable is good idea.
putting electronics in water is fine not that i would advise it, but if you get a spillage or find an electronic item thats wet as long as you dry it completely it will work fine, it would only break if it had an electric current running through it when it got wet
also with the xbox, nevermind that it looks like rust. ON PLASTIC.
I would always avoid those animal rescue makes me sad and mad , like they would literally paint and throw bad chemicals to the dog or break a bone or even shoot or run it over for clout
