FAQ's: Q: My screen wont work but it will display to an external display. What do I do? A: If the rest of the tests in this video didn't identify the issue, but the computer will display to an external monitor, then the issue is most likely with your LCD or your LCD Cable. 'Reseat' the cable by unplugging it from the Motherboard and the LCD. Then plug it back in to make sure the connections are secure. If that does not help, then replace the cable. If that does not work, replace the LCD. Q: I tried all these steps but with no luck. A: If you have tried all the troubleshooting steps seen here and could not identify the issue, and the computer would also not display to an external monitor, then the problem is most likely with your motherboard. I have 810 G2 laptop and had an issue with BIOS but when I installed it now I can see message saying:
The system BIOS version doesn't match the Boot Block Version.
It is recommended that you perform a BIOS update to the desired version.
Once you perform the BIOS update, the system will synchronize the System BIOS and Boot Block Versions.
Boot Block version: 1.0
System BIOS Version: 1.46
My laptop screen was flickering and now its completely turned off.
Hello, i have hp pavillion dv5, windows 10, pretty old tho, now im facing black screen, but before that, my windows were crashing and stuff, so the first thing was the blue screens, every 5 minutes, i think problem in windows, then after some time, the pc wont start, it give me black screen, when i keep the pc turned off for looong time, it turn on for couple of minutes, then the same thing, i tried all sloutions, monitor and stuff, in first the caps lock light were turn off and on, but now, it stays on. so what can i do, whats the solution? please?
MY LAPTOP COULD NOT RESTART AFTER I PERFORMED AN UPDATE ON IT (WINDOWS 10 PRO) IT HAD JUST FINISHED VERIFYING THE BIOS UPDATE AND WENT OFF.. NOW ALL IT DOES IS TURN ON AND OFF IN THE BLACK SCREEN...(doesn't display anything) I CAN HEAR THE FAN STARTING AS AS WELL STOP WHEN IT GOES OFF...

What if it's a touchscreen and the touchscreen ain't working too, while the screen is very dim?

Hai my screen is black but it do show wen I'll shain n lite on it and it's tesbling on n tv
Hey so i replaced the wire for the screen and camera on a laptop and i turned it on and the screen stays black i connected the laptop to a tv with a hdmi and it instantly connected working fine i tried changing it to only display on main screen and it continued to display on the tv, so i checked the drivers and the internal display has switched to the tv and there is no longer a driver for the internal screen, any ideas? Thanks. :)
bro it vibrates tuice and switches off and the loop continues it vibrates twice and turns off whats the reason its an headache
My hp when I turn on it lights up and go off that's all it do I don't have a battery pack on here
