FRIEDMAN BE-OD DELUXE This "BE" dual overdrive pedal captures the tone of the now legendary Friedman BE-100 amplifier, which has graced the stages of world class musicians the world over. The original Friedman BE-OD single channel pedal took the industry by storm. Tens of thousands of pedals sold worldwide and it's still going strong! This new BE-OD Deluxe pedal employs the exact same circuit but adds another channel and dual midrange controls. I'm kind of on a distortion pedal kick. First Act guitar with a PAF ish pickup straight into the BE-OD. That goes into my AMT F1 preamp and into a Mosvalve SS power amp. SM57 on a Sheffield 1290 speaker loaded in my Emperor cab. Mic goes into my on it last legs of life iRig Pre HD and straight into my iPhone. About as cheap and raw as can be.

For my Presets visit: 🤍 This pedal is kind of nuts. The gain knob, even all the way down has more gain than most pedals I've played. As it turns out, the GAIN TRIM pot inside the pedal can have a drastic effect on the whole vibe of the pedal. Iridium is on the ROUND setting.

There's supposed to be quite a bit of gain on tap in this little overdrive pedal as well. So is it any good? That's what I'm looking to find out today.
