If any changes are detected to a protected system file, the modified file is restored from a cached copy located in the Windows folder itself. So if at any point of time if you find that you have hacked some system files or maybe applied some tweaks or replaced system files, maybe while customizing your Windows, and you now find that your Windows is not working properly, you may want to consider running this utility first, before trying a System Restore. To do so, you will have to first open an elevated command prompt window. To run the System File Checker in Windows 10/8/7, type cmd in start search box. In the result, which appears, right click on cmd and select Run As Administrator. There are several things you can do with the sfc scannow command, sfc /scannow is a common way to use the sfc command. Sfc /scannow will scan all the Windows system files in your computer, like windows DLL files. When the System File Checker finds problems with any of these files, it will delete and replace the corrupt files it detects. This is a step by step guide to Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files. If some Windows functions aren't working or Windows crashes, use the System File Checker to scan Windows and restore your files. The sfc /scannow command will scan all protected system files, and replace corrupted files with a cached copy that is located in a compressed folder at %WinDir%\System32\dllcache. System File Checker In Windows 10/8/7/Vista, the System File Checker is part of the Windows Resource Protection, that protects registry keys and folders and critical system files. If it detects changes to a protected system file, the corrupt file is restored from a cached copy located in the Windows System32 folder. You should run this utility first, before trying to do a System Restore. If you happen to come across this issue, you can use the Windows 11 System File Checker (SFC), which is a command-line tool designed to scan the integrity and restore missing or corrupted system files with working replacements. To repair a Windows 11 installation using the SFC command tool, use these steps: 1. Open Start. 2. Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option. 3. Type the following command to repair system files and press Enter: sfc /scannow 4. Confirm result: ● Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations – indicates that the system doesn't have any missing or corrupted files. ● Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation – indicates that a problem was detected during the scan, and an offline scan is required. ● Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log – indicates that SFC detected and was able to fix the problem. ● Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. ¿SFC /Scannow - DISM y CHKDSK para qué sirven y cómo se utilizan? ¿Qué es CHKDSK y para qué sirve? CHKDSK es el diminutivo de dos palabras, Check Disk. Es una utilidad que se utiliza para analizar, verificar y reparar las unidades de almacenamiento de nuestro ordenador. Este puede ser discos duros mecánicos, SSD o dispositivos USB conectados. Mediante CHKDSK podremos mejorar el rendimiento de la unidad, y optimizar su utilización y rendimiento. Las funciones principales que realiza CHKDSK son: Escaneo y reparación de errores lógicos y físicos que tenga una unidad de almacenamiento Monitorizar el estado de nuestro disco duro en tiempo real Este comando debe ejecutarse en la ventana de comandos CMD de Windows y son necesarios permisos de administrador. Parámetros de CHKDSK Windows 10 Esta opción es solo aplicable al sistema de archivos FAT/FAT32. Podremos especificar los archivos en los que se comprobará la fragmentación. /? Muestra la ayuda y opciones que tienen el comando. /F Mediante este parámetro podremos corregir los errores existentes en el disco. /V Si lo usamos en un sistema NTFS, muestra mensajes de ejecución de limpieza si los hubiera. /R Podremos encontrar sectores defectuosos del disco duro y recuperar la información que sea legible. (debemos usarlo junto a /F si no se especifica /scan). /X Con esta opción obligamos a la unidad a desmontarse previamente si es necesario. (debemos usarlo junto a /F). /I Aplicable solo para NTFS, mediante esta opción realizamos una comprobación menos exhaustiva de las entradas de índice. /B Solo se utiliza con NTFS, en este caso vuelve a evaluar los clústeres que estén defectuosos en la unidad seleccionada (debemos usarlo junto a /R). /scan Solo aplicable a sistemas NTFS. Tendremos la posibilidad de ejecutar un examen en línea en la unidad. Muy útil para redes intranets /spotfix Solo archivos NTFS, ejecuta una corrección puntual de los errores que fueron enviados al registro de análisis en la unidad previamente desmontada. /scan /forceofflinefix De nuevo solamente utilizable con NTFS, tras realizar el análisis en línea con el uso de /scan. todos los defectos encontrados se ponen en cola para su reparación sin conexión. /scan /perf Solo archivos NTFS: usa más recursos del sistema para completar un examen lo más rápido posible. Esto podría afectar negativamente al rendimiento de otras tareas que se ejecuten en el sistema. /offlinescanandfix Podremos ejecutar un examen y posterior reparación sin conexión en la unidad ¿Qué hace el comando DISM? DISM (Deployment Image & Servicing Management) es una herramienta que se utiliza para corregir la corrupción del almacén de componentes que impide que SFC se ejecute correctamente. El comando DISM scanhealth generalmente puede tardar un par de minutos en completarse y la razón principal por la que lleva tanto tiempo es porque compara los archivos dañados con archivos saludables y crea un registro en su PC. El comando DISM CheckHealth es para comprobar las corrupciones. Este comando solo se utiliza para saber si sobrevive alguna corrupción, pero esto no ejecutará ninguna reparación. El comando DISM RestoreHealth escaneará su sistema en busca de daños y reparará sectores corruptos. On Windows 10, when you start noticing random errors, problems booting up, or features not working as expected, there's a good chance that one or multiple system files might have gone missing or corrupted for unknown reasons. Usually, problems with system files could occur as a result of an issue installing a system update, driver, or application, or while making changes to the installation manually. If you happen to come across this issue, you can use the Windows 10 System File Checker (SFC), which is a command-line tool designed to scan the integrity and restore missing or corrupted system files with working replacements. To repair a Windows 10 installation using the SFC command tool, use these steps: 1. Open Start. 2. Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option. 3. Type the following command to repair system files and press Enter: sfc /scannow 4. Confirm result: ● Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations – indicates that the system doesn't have any missing or corrupted files. ● Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation – indicates that a problem was detected during the scan, and an offline scan is required. ● Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log – indicates that SFC detected and was able to fix the problem. ● Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log – indicates that you have to repair the corrupted files manually. Once you complete the steps, the System File Checker command will scan, detect, and try to fix problems with system files on Windows 10. If the tool has detected an issue, it's recommended to run the command at least three times to ensure that all the problems have been corrected. In the case that you're having other problems using the SFC tool, then use this guide to use the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool to repair the local Windows 10 image to allow the System File Checker to complete successfully. VIEWING SFC SCAN LOGS To view the details stored in the CBS.Log file from an SFC scan, use these steps: 1. Open Start. 2. Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option. 3. Type the command (you'll find it in a comment section below) and then click Enter. 4. Check the Windows 10 desktop for a "sfclogs.txt" file. 5. Double-click the sfclogs.txt file to open it with the default text editor app. After you complete the steps, the log file will reveal all the details of the scanned system files and information for files that couldn't be repaired. (This option is only available when performing a scan within Windows 10, not when performing an offline scan with Command Prompt.) REPAIRING SYSTEM FILES MANUALLY (WITH EXAMPLE COMMANDS) To repair damaged system files in Windows 10 manually, use these steps: IMPORTANT: You may be able to find good working files to replace in your installation from another device running the exact edition and version of Windows 10. If you don't know the location of the damaged file, you may need to perform an online search with the information you obtained from the SFC log file. 1. Open Start. 2. Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option. 3. Type the following command to take ownership of the corrupted files and press Enter: takeown /f C:\PATH\TO\FILE 4. In the command, make sure to update the command with the path to the file that you're trying to fix. 5. In this example, the command takes ownership of the "ActionCenter.dll" file: takeown /f C:\Windows\System32\ActionCenter.dll 6. Type the following command to grant full administrator access to the corrupted file and press Enter: icacls C:\PATH\TO\FILE /Grant Administrators:F 7. In the command, make sure to update the command with the path to the file that you're trying to fix. In this example, the command grants access to the "ActionCenter.dll" file: icacls C:\Windows\System32\ActionCenter.dll /Grant Administrators:F 8. Type the following command to replace the corrupted files with a good-known version and press Enter: copy C:\PATH\TO\SOURCE\GOOD\FILE C:\PATH\TO\DESTINATION\BROKEN\FILE In the command, make sure to update the command with the source and destination paths to replace the corrupted file. 9. In this example, the command replaces the "ActionCenter.dll" file in the System32 folder: copy C:\Files\ActionCenter.dll C:\Windows\System32\ActionCenter.dll 10. Type the following command to verify the integrity of the system files and press Enter: sfc /verifyonly ➤ MORE INFORMATION & RESOURCES: ✓ 🤍
🤍 Essa ferramenta de comando localiza e corrige arquivos corrompidos:. Então, se o seu Windows está apresentando problemas com os arquivos do sistema, faça o na tecla com o símbolo do Windows, digite CMD na caixa de pesquisa e clique com o botão direito do mouse em prompt de comando. Clique em executar como administrador. Vai abrir o prompt de comando do administrador. Digite SFC /SCANNOW e em seguida aperte a tecla ENTER. Em seguida será iniciado processo de verificação de arquivos do sistema. Esse ação vai até 100% e no final será apresentado um relatório de arquivos corrompidos e que foram reparados. Esse processo pode demorar alguns minutos e o seu computador deve ser reiniciado por você no final. Agora, se por ventura o seu computador está sendo apresentada a tela de solução de problemas do Windows após alguns dias da instalação da atualização do Windows 10,esse comando pode resolver o seu problema. Faça o seguinte: nas opções que se apresentam, clique em Solução de Problemas; Clique agora em Opções Avançadas; Clique em Prompt de Comando com o botão direito do mouse e em executar como administrador; Na tela Prompt de Comando digite SFC /SCANNOW e pressione Enter (esse procedimento levará alguns minutos)e no final reinicie sua máquina. Se após a execução da ferramenta o sistema iniciar normalmente, acesse o site do fabricante de seu equipamento e pelo modelo, baixe e instale os drivers mais recentes como da placa de vídeo, placa de rede, USB, chipset, Bios, entre outros. Sempre é bom atualizar os drives e criar um ponto de restauração do sistema antes de migrar para outro sistema operacional. obs: digitar SFC aperte a tecla space uma vez/SCANNOW.
