The Soviet Voskhod program was created to break several firsts, even if it meant risking the lives of its crew. Voskhod 1's mission was to launch three men into space aboard a tiny pod where they barely had any room to move. The cosmonauts even had to undergo a rigorous diet to fit into the capsule. The men were carefully picked to fulfill the political demands of USSR officials. They would be part of the first spacecraft mission to carry more than one man into space. The mission would put the USSR one step closer to winning the Space Race against the Americans. But there was a catch. The spacecraft did not have ejection seats in case anything went wrong after the launch. Even worse, they would travel into orbit without spacesuits to save even more weight.
Voskhod 1 (Russian: Восход-1, Восход is Russian for Sunrise) was the seventh manned Soviet space flight. It achieved a number of "firsts" in the history of manned spaceflight, being the first space flight to carry more than one crewman into orbit, the first flight without the use of spacesuits, and the first to carry either an engineer or a physician into outer space. It also set a manned spacecraft altitude record of 336 km (209 mi). The three spacesuits for the Voskhod 1 cosmonauts were omitted; there was neither the room nor the payload capacity for the Voskhod to carry them. The original Voskhod had been designed to carry two cosmonauts, but Soviet politicians pushed the Soviet space program into squeezing three cosmonauts into Voskhod 1. The only other space flight in the short Voskhod program, Voskhod 2, carried two suited cosmonauts — of necessity, because it was the flight on which Alexei Leonov made the world's first walk in space. As part of its payload Voskhod 1 carried a ribbon off a Communard banner from the Paris Commune of 1871 into orbit. Rarely seen Russian Voskhod Bocxoa Motorcycle Voshkod is a Russian company that produced spacecraft and then later in the 60's they ventured into producing motorcycles and here we have found a 1995 example with barely 425km on the clocks. The Russians produced this for the luxury market and even listed it as opposition to Harley Davidson with a dual purpose for farm work. Evidence of this is the massive fins on the cylinder head for cooling at slower speeds, the totally enclosed final chain drive as well as the mud flap at the bottom of the rear mudguard. Voskhod 1 was the first spaceflight to carry more than one person into space and the first flight without space suits. The Soviet mission was specifically planned to beat the U.S. Gemini program to this milestone. As a further propaganda coup, the spacecraft was claimed to have carried into orbit a fragment of a communard banner from the Paris Commune of 1871.

First space walk. Speed and altitude records. A disaster: astronaut unable to reenter airlock due to spacesuit stiffness; cabin flooded with oxygen; manual reentry, landed in mountains, crew not recovered until next day. Further Voskhod flights cancelled. AKA: Almaz (Diamond). Launched: 1965-03-18. Returned: 1965-03-19. Number crew: 2 . Duration: 1.08 days. Location: RKK Energia Museum, Korolev, Russia. First spacewalk, with a two man crew of Colonel Pavel Belyayev and Lt. Colonel Aleksey Leonov. During Voskhod 2's second orbit, Leonov stepped from the vehicle and performed mankind's first "walk in space." After 10 min of extravehicular activity, he returned safely to the spacecraft through an inflatable airlock. This mission was the original raison d'etre of the Voskhod series, with the original name 'Advance'. It almost ended in disaster when Leonov was unable to reenter the airlock due to stiffness of the inflated spacesuit. He had to bleed air from the suit in order to get into the airlock. After Leonov finally managed to get back into the spacecraft cabin, the primary hatch would not seal completely. The environmental control system compensated by flooding the cabin with oxygen, creating a serious fire hazard in a craft only qualified for sea level nitrogen-oxygen gas mixes (Cosmonaut Bondarenko had burned to death in a ground accident in such circumstances, preceding the Apollo 204 disaster by many years). On re-entry the primary retrorockets failed. A manually controlled retrofire was accomplished one orbit later (perhaps with the backup solid rocket retropack on the nose of spacecraft - which did not exist on Vostok). The service module failed to separate completely, leading to wild gyrations of the joined reentry sphere - service module before connecting wires burned through. Vostok 2 finally landed near Perm in the Ural mountains in heavy forest at 59:34 N 55:28 E on March 19, 1965 9:02 GMT. The crew spent the night in the woods, surrounded by wolves, before being located. Recovery crew had to chop down trees to clear a landing zone for helicopter recovery of the crew, who had to ski to the clearing from the spacecraft. Only some days later could the capsule itself be removed. Although trumpeted to the world as a triumph (with suspect TV pictures and film of the spacewalk which did not match), this was the swan song of the Soviet space program and for Korolev. Follow-on Voskhod missions were cancelled as too dangerous, and America took the lead with Gemini 4 and subsequent missions taking the records for duration, rendezvous and docking, and spacewalking. Если на нём есть пластиковый выступ, смещённый относительно стального сердечника, совмещайте ротор с ним. Выступ уже имеет необходимое смещение. Если датчик такого выступа не имеет, совмещайте, как на 43.3701. Испытания со стробоскопом показали, что искра возникает, когда прорезь ротора находится не доходя до выступа датчика. On Oct. 12, 1964, the Soviet Union launched Voskhod 1, a 24-hour crewed mission that achieved several "firsts" for human spaceflight. The This was the first time that a spacecraft carried more than one person into orbit, with three cosmonauts packed inside the spacecraft. Only two cosmonauts were originally supposed to fly on this mission, but Soviet politicians pressured the space program to add one more. This left no room for spacesuits on board, so this also became the first spaceflight without spacesuits. Two of the crewmembers, an engineer and a doctor, became the first civilians to go to space.

Kosmos 110 was a test run of the Voskhod rocket that carried two dogs, Veterok and Ugolyok, into space. The three manned mission wouldn't have room for space suits or ejection systems so there was no margin for error.
