Music production with Cubasis has taken another step forward in Cubasis 3.3 with sidechain support. This lets you create the pumping effect and ducking effect which are very popular in modern music. You can use a sidechain to have the kick drum triggering a compressor, for example for ducking a bass or synth with the kick drum. Sidechaining in Cubasis can be used for many creative and interesting effects, it’s one of the new features in Cubasis that is very simple to set up but is very effective.
