Then you will find your lcd is nit working , there is only white screen. There are a number of cheap LCD screens for your Raspberry Pi. If you're just using them for a control panel or mobile desktop the default settings can work fine. But if you want to play games or any sort of video or animations the 5 frames per second just won't cut it! In this video I'll show you how to set up an LCD screen for a mobile games console project. We'll install the default drivers and then tweak the settings to get to a useable frame rate. I'll also show some of the issues you'll come across as you push the SPI channel too far. This is the first of 2 videos on tuning your LCD display. The second shows you how to replace the default drivers with much better ones to get even better frame rates. This is a solid and nice case that have options for you to access the GPIO, CSI, DSI and cooling fan with the default top lid. Yet, you want a nice enclosure with 3.5" touch screen display, you will love this case too. Removing the top lid allow you to add 3.5" touch screen to Raspberry Pi. There are a lot of cheap LCD screens for the Raspberry Pi. The cheapest use an SPI serial interface to connect to the computer. But this serial connection can lead to very slow screen updates and frame rates as low as 5 FPS. You really can't play games with these! But with a new driver and a few tweaks we can get towards the ideal 60 frames per second for super smooth animation. I'll show you how to set up a cheap, generic 3.5 inch LCD panel and get it from unplayable to around 30-40 FPS - and this is quite a slow display! Even at this rate gaming becomes a pleasure. soooo i just bought the cheapest 3.5" touchscreen off ebay and it had the chip ILI9486 with the XPT2046 touch controller. the seller didn't have instructions on how to get it working, and with some research, i came across waveshare's website where you can just download a 1.3GB file, extract it, and then burn the image file to your microSD using win32diskimager (will wipe everything and install Raspbian OS with pre-installed drivers for the 3.5" display. there is a manual method too, but you can look on the web to see if you want to try it that way...i just wanted a working screen and this seemed the easiest for this model. all about the screen: 🤍 a site to download win32diskimager: 🤍 Follow this page on getting OS and driver installed: 🤍 *give my kitty cat a follow on IG🤍: kingstaunchda1st* promise he's not as big-headed as me :P 🤍
