Luckily before 2nd wave of the pandemic hit India I get a chance to visit these beautiful Islands , Andaman Island also known as Kala Pani and if you ask me Untouched Paradise. It was a 4 day trip and in my trip I visited Port Blair which is the capital of these islands , Swaraj dweep (Havelock Island) , Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island). Neil Island is one of India’s Andaman Islands, in the Bay of Bengal. Bharatpur Beach has coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. Laxmanpur Beach is known for its sunset views. Howrah Bridge is a natural rock formation accessible at low tide. Near the island’s wharf is Neil Kendra village, with a curving, sandy bay dotted with boats. Off the southeast coast, the tiny Sir Hugh Rose Island is a sanctuary for turtles. Some notable places to visit in Neil Island are, Bharatpur Beach, Laxmanpur Beach, Sitapur Beach, and Natural Bridge. Some people also like to visit the Ramnagar Beach, also known as the Sunset Beach. Water Sports Activities are only available in Bharatpur Beach. Rest of the attractions are only for sightseeing. No broadband connection is available in Neil Island. Data network is available on phone sometimes but is patchy. BSNL is the network with the best connectivity. Exploring Neil Island Andaman | Places to Visit in Neil Island | Havelock to Neil Island Ferry In this video, we have shared our journey from Havelock island to Neil island by Green Ocean Ferry and explore all the beaches and attractions in Neil Island. So watch this video till the end to know all about Neil Island. = Our complete Andaman Itinerary for 7N 8D Hotels we stayed- Portblair: The Shelter hotel - 2,400 per night Horizon Hues - 2,000 per night Havelock Island: Havelock Island beach resort (1 night ) - Rs. 6,000 per night Ocean Tree beach resort(2 nights) - Rs 5,500 per night Neil Island: Neil Banjara Hotel: 2,000 per night Itinerary : Day1 - Reach Portblair and Visit Cellular Jail in the evening. Day2 - Explore Ross and North bay islands. This will take almost full day. you can also visit Chidiyatapu or Corbyn's cove beach on this day if you get time in the evening and skip day 3. Day 3 - We stayed an extra day in Portblair for office work but you can go to Havelock Island on day 3. On that day, we explored some museums in Portblair like Samudrika Marine museum, Zonal Anthropological Museum, and also visited Asia's largest and oldest Saw mill and then later in the evening, we went to Corbyn's Cobe beach for some water activities in Portblair. Day 4 - Portblair to Havelock island by Ferry. We have booked Makruzz ferry from 🤍 which costed around 1,600 rupees per person. On that day, you can relax in your resort and and visit Radhanagar beach for sunset. Day 5 - Explore Havelock island and enjoy some water activities in Elephanta beach or also do Scuba diving which will cost your around 3 - 4K for shore dive and 4.5-6k for boat dive. Day 6 - Take a ferry from Havelock island and reach beautiful Neil Island. We booked Green Ocean Ferry which costed Rs.1,200 per person and upon reaching, you can visit Natural bridge in Lakshmanpur beach 2, Bharatpur beach for some water activities and then in the evening Lakshmanpur beach 1 to enjoy the sunset. Day 7 - Get up early in the morning to visit Sitapur beach for Sunrise and then back to Portblair in the afternoon. We booked again Green ocean ferry which costed 1,400 per person. We cycled from Laxmanpur, the western tip of the island to the eastern tip (a long 5 kms 😛) to reach Sitapur Beach, the sunrise beach on Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) in Andaman.
