Unboxing the Xiaomi Redmi 10 with a tour of the specs and MiUI software, plus a 3-day review of the camera tech, gaming performance and beyond. At under £200, this is one of the best budget-friendly smartphones of 2021, especially for battery life. Although there's no 5G on board. The Xiaomi Redmi 10's performance is limited but gaming on PubG and other Android titles is perfectly possible. You can shoot detailed photos of the family with that 50MP primary camera, although video tops off at Full HD. That 90Hz IPS screen is bright and punchy, with a not-too-bad stereo speaker setup and headphone jack. MiUI 12 is as divisive as ever but offers a bunch of bonus features not found on standard Android. And the Xiaomi Redmi 10 sports a smart design, making it more attractive than many other budget phones right now. Unboxing the Xiaomi 11T Pro, a fresh premium smartphone boasting a 108MP camera, 120W charging speeds and Snapdragon 888 smarts with 5G on board. This hands-on review tests the gaming chops, tours the cam features and sees if the Xiaomi 11T Pro really can charge in just 20 minutes. Those specs are solid, so with a UK price starting from £599 this phone a strong rival to the OnePlus 9 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S21 etc. Xiaomi is bigging up the camera tech and my photo samples from that primary sensor are good so far. Gamers have strong enough performance for smashing through titles like Genshin Impact, PubG and other Android favourites on top detail settings. Battery life so far seems good, with that fast charge 120W support for powering back up in well under half an hour. Sporting a 108MP camera, Snapdragon 695 smarts and super specs, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is looking like a top choice for demanding users.
