In this video I show and test a fake iMax B6 that I received. These chargers turn out to be very bad, because they are not quality checked, the use lower grade components, have missing protection features and they often overcharge the batteries which would shorten their lifetime or even worse it could make them swell, vent or explode. ! ¤¤¤¤ SUPPORT Ec-Projects ¤¤¤¤ By using my Amazon affiliate links (No extra cost for you!) You can probably calibrate the voltage reading in the same way as the B6AC: power it on while keeping "Dec" and "Start" pressed:
jQ6hhP7dVvM&t=563s jQ6hhP7dVvM&t=563s
Brother try new firmware for this fake charger and use accurate multimeter to calibrate it.
The firmware name is cheali-charger and it need to be flashed on AVR or ARM microcontroller (the brain of this charger).
We have 2 type processor on this fake chargers; ARM and AVR and each one need its special way for flashing.
After that your charger will show voltage with 3 digits after / Like 3.954 or 3/954.
Forgive me for bad English .
You can calibrate the voltage by pushing dec and enter while powering on and setting to a know accurate voltage on a connected battery. Just push the dec or inc button until the screen voltage matches you known accurate voltage. The fake ones seem to be overcharging. Maybe they also sell batteries :) We already know they are deceptive.
I have only received my charger and it does not have the sticker on the back so I will send it back. So thanks for the tip.
Have you calibrated the charger berfore starting ?
this charger is still on the market....maybe the scammer fixed the overcharge bugs?
there's an easy fix to the problem by calibrating the chinese version to properly read the voltage...this video shows you how - youtu.be/jQ6hhP7dVvM youtu.be/jQ6hhP7dVvM
I am using it for DIY coz its affordable and i cant afford a supisticated charger and it is working fine for me for 3yrs now. Cheers!
This charger can be balanced
Fake or not fake if it does it 's job or ruin the batteries l don't care it's like buying a brand name wrist watch . If it tells the right time who cares.
Great marketing strategy by sky rc, but I am happy with my clone..

I don´t know this gentleman ...but this is how calibrate a fake b6
The LiIo function fits in the charger ... why crack it as a lipo?
I definitely like the real one from SkyRC that has the internal resistance test mode. Awesome!
could it be uploaded firmare this clone version bro?
Even some of the genuine chargers are not celebrated properly very simple to do if you meter is spot on. Try it very simple to do.read/ do.read the instruction booklet
So why dont you celebrate it befor you start charging
You can calibrate it if you are not aware.
make sure to calibrate to a accurate volt meter ..calibration mode dec+start hold it for 5 seconds and match your calibration from your volt meter to the charger
